Ancient Hawaiians made very modern art looking prints on their mulberry bark cloth. These prints on bark cloth are called TAPA in most parts of Polynesia, but in Hawaii it was called KAPA. I thought it would make a good contemporary print to use an old traditional design on a modern giclee print. I pulled out a rough hand print I did years ago and made it into a 4 part print. It turns out to make a bold statement accent piece for any room.
