Description
Don't buy this image, it is only to show the 4 panels together. This is a work in progress, it still has to be broken into the four equal panels as depicted before it can be listed for download on Fine Art America as they require each section,
(panel), to be listed as an individual work of art. If you want to order the 4 panel set, email me and I will put up each panel by itself for you (and every one) to order and download.
This print is a silverish, faded, less saturated colored version of the Yellow Hibiscus multi-panel series I have elsewhere. A friend of mine wanted a grayer less saturated version than my usual really bright intense versions. It came out fine. The yellow hibiscus is the Hawaii state flower. It is part of the plant family Malvaceae. Many of the hibiscus seen in Hawaii are actually hybrids of Chinese hibiscus. But Hawaii does have 7 or 9 versions of hibiscus that are native to Hawaii from ancient days. 2 of them are likely extinct now. Can't be found any more. The yellow hibiscus is one of the seven native versions found nowadays. Hibiscus are interesting flowers with their crinkled petals and huge stamen, they make a good art subject. So I did a number of different colors of the same design
