Description
Don't buy this image, it is only to show what the multi-panels would look like hanging as a group on the wall.
I have never seen a conch shell at the beach, but we do have them off shore in Hawaii. The ancient Hawaiians used them for trumpets. This painting depicts a number of Hawaiian shells including the cowry, and cone shells, and some of the real Hawaiian puka shells which are the left overs of broken cone shells where only the heavy coiled base of the shell is left after all the cone part has broken off after tumbling in the surf for days on end. There is also a purple sea urchin base shell, all the urchin spines have broken off in the surf
