Description
Don't buy this image, it is only to show the 3 panels together. This is a work in progress, it still has to be broken into the three equal panels as depicted, before it can be listed for download on Fine Art America as they require each section, (panel), to be listed as an individual work of art. If you want to order the 3 panel set, email me and I will put up each panel by itself for you (and every one) to order and download.
I decided to do a couple of vertical long paintings, that could be used by people who need something to fill a vertical space. There's nothing more vertical than a waterfall. I like an artist named James Coleman who did a bunch of tropical Hawaiian scenes with waterfalls. So I decided to do one waterfall scene in his style. He always had thatched roof houses set back by waterfalls, and everything was, like overgrown with bougainvillea which lent a purplish - pinkish cast to the setting. Here in Hawaii we do have a lot of bougainvillea bushes, that's for sure. And the bougainvillea sends out lots of runners, long reaching branches, and they can easily overgrow just about anything if you don't keep cutting them back. So I started with a picture of Paradise Falls and added bougainvillea and a thatched Hawaiian hut, and a bamboo bridge to give it a look like James Coleman perhaps would have painted. Of course it comes out in my distinctive style and only vaguely looks like a Coleman.
This is an original Giclee print. It comes either as a long painting/print or a multi-panel painting/print. The multiple set includes the 3 panels 18"X24" or medium 18"X13.5", or the smaller 9"X12". The long version is 54"X24" or 41.5"X18" or 27"X12". This item will have to be printed on the Mainland and sent to the buyer. It is sent with additional image painted in the canvas margins so that as it is stretched, the image bends around wood bars (called a gallery wrap), and it is ready to hang with no frame needed. It is an original, (multiple original) piece, it is worth more than a regular giclee print.
