Description
Single Panel version of a Multi Panel painting
Don't buy this image, it is only to show what the single panel would look like hanging on the wall.
I do a lot of three and even four panel painting prints because I like the modern look and it is quite an attractive means to decorate a wall. But not everyone has the wall space for such a long decorative display, and some would prefer the more traditional rectangular painting format. So I have redone most of my multi-panel pieces as single panel rectangle works. Check out other pages of my site to see if I have posted a multi panel version of this painting/print.
The sport of canoe paddling started a thousand years ago in Hawaii. It is now popular both here in Hawaii and many other places in the world. So I wanted to do a couple of versions of ancient Hawaiians paddling their solid Koa canoes off-shore by Diamond Head. It is an undeveloped Diamond Head in my paintings as it is a depiction of ancient Hawaiian paddling. This is the women paddling as they strain to send their canoe gliding over the waves. I am also doing a version of the racing canoe with Kane (men) paddlers. I used my animation program, Blender to make the models of the Hawaiian women and their traditional dress and decorative Hawaiian leis.
