Description
Single Panel version of a Multi Panel painting
I do a lot of three and even four panel painting prints because I like the modern look and it is quite an attractive means to decorate a wall. But not
everyone has the wall space for such a long decorative display, and some would prefer the more traditional rectangular painting format. So Ihave redone most of my multi-panel pieces as single panel rectangle works. Check out other pages of my site to see if I have posted a multi panel version of this painting/print.
This print is the original yellow hibiscus version that I made from some photos I took of yellow hibiscus which I saw on a bush on the way to Walmart one day. This is the Yellow Hibiscus multi-panel series I used to make the other colored multipanels elsewhere. The yellow hibiscus is the Hawaii state flower. It is part of the plant family Malvaceae. Many of the hibiscus seen in Hawaii are actually hybids of Chinese hibiscus. But Hawaii does have 7 or 9 versions of hibiscus that are native to Hawaii from ancient days. 2 of them are likely extinct now. Can't be found anywhere. The yellow hibiscus is one of the seven native versions found nowadays. Hibiscus are interesting flowers with their crinkled petals and huge stamen, they make a good art subject.
