Hanalei Bay is a perfect semi circular bay on the windward side of Kauai. This is a lazy day kind of painting. There is the hammock suspended between two palm trees in the shade on a quiet beach with an occasional small wave lapping the sand beach. In the background you can see the Hanalei pier and then the beginning of Kauai's famous North Shore Pali cliffs. This painting will always make you relax. This work comes in two versions, one that is divided up into a 3 panel set called a triptych and the other is a long single canvas.
